Once it's enabled, you now can specify which catalog items have price bands or not either with the UI by creating or editing a catalog item:
With it enabled, you will now see a "+ Price Band" button underneath your price groups (or cost / vendor sources). Clicking this button will add a new Price Band row:
You can add as many rows as you'd like and specify the start and end quantities for the price band. Leave the End Qty. blank if there is no end quantity for that band. For pricing to work correctly however, each price group will need at least 1 price band row. Even if there is no discounted rate if they order more, but this can be easily done by setting Start Qty. to 1 and leaving the End. Qty. blank. This same can be done for both a standard cost price (if enabled) or if you are using Purchase Orders with Vendor Sources, you can specify the Price Band for them as well, in the same manner from within the catalog item edit sidebar. You can also edit the price bands for the items from the Vendor Sources view, by clicking the edit pencil next to an item with price bands that's associated with that Vendor Source. The selection of the price band is automatic by the system and will also show you your profit / margin on the order for the individual items as well as the order total by using the appropriate price band.Bulk UpdatesThere is also a new CSV file with on the Catalogs screen called "Price Bands" which gives you a standard format to create new price bands or update existing ones.
