You can set up order Templates a fast way to allow users to create new orders with all the exact details as a previously saved setup.
eCommerce mode customers can be shown the template items as their home screen items.
Getting Started and Creation
Enable Feature: Turn on the Templates feature under Settings. Once saved, a new Template Menu item will appear.
Enable Template Home Items (Optional) if you want to have the customer users see these items as their home screen items.
Create a Template: Creating a template works similarly to creating an order.
Click Create to open the sidebar and enter the necessary details.
Add catalog items, edit details, and set shipping information just as you would on a regular Order.
Changes made in the Template are automatically saved.
Utilizing a Template
Templates are used when creating a new Order.
Account Specific: You can only use a Template for an account if the Template was created for that specific account.
Selection: If an account has available templates, a dropdown will become enabled, allowing you to select one.
Final Order: Selecting the template and clicking 'Create' populates the new order with all the details and line items from the Template.
Note: For the eCommerce view, the template is utilized automatically when the user is at the Home screen, and doesn't require any actual selection. The system will use the customer's default template.
