FastBound Integration - Reconciliation Report

The Reconciliation Report compares your FastBound inventory against your Orderwerks serial records to identify discrepancies. Use it regularly to ensure both systems stay in sync and to catch issues early.

Accessing the Report

Navigate to Reports from the main menu.
Select FastBound Reconciliation Report from the report list.
Choose the FastBound account to reconcile and generate the report.

Report Header

The top of the report displays:

Account Name - Which FastBound account was reconciled
Account Number - The FastBound account number
Generated At - The date and time the report was created

Summary Cards

A row of summary cards gives you a quick overview of the reconciliation results:

Card	Description
FastBound Items	Total number of items in your FastBound account
OW Serials	Total number of FastBound-linked serials in Orderwerks
Matched	Serials found in both systems with matching status (green)
Matched Unassigned	Serials that match but haven't been assigned to an Orderwerks catalog item (yellow)
FastBound Only	Serials that exist in FastBound but not in Orderwerks (yellow)
OW Only	Serials that exist in Orderwerks but not in FastBound (blue)
Status Mismatch	Serials found in both systems but with different statuses (red)

Filtering by Category

Use the filter buttons below the summary cards to view specific subsets of the data:

Filter	What It Shows
All	Every item in the report
Matched	Only serials that exist in both systems with matching status
FastBound Only	Only serials found in FastBound but missing from Orderwerks
OW Only	Only serials found in Orderwerks but missing from FastBound
Status Mismatch	Only serials with differing statuses between systems
Matched Unassigned	Only matched serials that lack a catalog item assignment in Orderwerks (appears when count > 0)

Each filter button shows a badge with the count of items in that category.

Report Table Columns

The reconciliation table provides detailed information for each serial:

Column	Description
Serial	The serial number
Category	Color-coded badge showing which reconciliation category the serial falls into
FB Manufacturer	Manufacturer name from FastBound
FB Model	Model name from FastBound
FB Type	Firearm type from FastBound
FB Caliber	Caliber from FastBound
FB Status	Current status in FastBound
OW SKU	The SKU in Orderwerks (if assigned)
OW Name	The catalog item name in Orderwerks (if assigned)
Assigned	Whether the serial is assigned to a catalog item: green "Yes" or yellow "No"
OW Status	Current FastBound status recorded in Orderwerks
Mismatch Detail	Explanation of what differs when a status mismatch is detected

Understanding Categories

Matched (Green)

The serial exists in both FastBound and Orderwerks with the same status. No action required.

FastBound Only (Yellow)

The serial exists in FastBound but has no corresponding record in Orderwerks. This typically means:

The serial was added to FastBound after the last sync
The acquisition sync filtered it out (check your Acquisition Type Filter setting)
The serial was created directly in FastBound

Action: Run an acquisition sync from the Sync Dashboard to import missing serials.

Orderwerks Only (Blue)

The serial exists in Orderwerks but not in FastBound. This could mean:

The serial was deleted in FastBound
The serial was imported from a different source
There's a data entry discrepancy

Action: Verify the serial in FastBound. If it was deleted intentionally, consider dismissing or removing the serial in Orderwerks.

Status Mismatch (Red)

The serial exists in both systems but the status differs (e.g., "Active" in Orderwerks but "Disposed" in FastBound). The Mismatch Detail column explains the specific difference.Action: Determine which system has the correct status and update the other. Run an item sync to pull the latest status from FastBound, or investigate the disposition history.

Matched Unassigned (Yellow)

The serial is matched between systems but hasn't been assigned to an Orderwerks catalog item yet. The serial is tracked but not linked to a specific product.Action: Go to Pending Serials and assign these serials to the appropriate catalog items.

Exporting to Excel

Click the Excel button (download icon) in the control bar to export the full report as an Excel spreadsheet. The export includes all reconciliation data regardless of the current filter selection. The file is either downloaded directly or available via a temporary link, depending on the report size.

Best Practices

Run reconciliation regularly - Weekly or after large sync operations to catch discrepancies early
Address "FastBound Only" items first - These usually just need an acquisition sync
Investigate status mismatches promptly - These may indicate compliance issues
Use the "Matched Unassigned" filter - To find serials that need catalog item assignment
